Carbon and/or Climate Consultant (Project-based)

About the Role
We are looking for experienced consultants who enjoy solving practical carbon and climate challenges for businesses across different industries. If you are seeking flexible project work while contributing to high-quality sustainability consulting, we'd love to hear from you.
You will work closely with our consulting team to deliver practical carbon accounting and climate-related advisory projects for clients across different industries, contributing to technical analysis, report preparation, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Carbon Accounting
Conduct GHG inventories and carbon footprint assessments (e.g. ISO 14064 / ISO 14067 / Scope 1–3)
Perform carbon calculations, emission factor selection and data quality review
Prepare technical reports and support third-party verification
Climate Risk
Conduct Climate Scenario Analysis under TCFD / ISSB IFRS S2
Support quantitative climate risk assessment where applicable
Prepare professional consulting deliverables and client reports
Requirements
Requirements
We welcome candidates with experience in either Carbon Accounting or Climate Risk (experience in both is an advantage).
Carbon Accounting
Relevant professional experience with ISO 14064, ISO 14067 or Scope 1–3 accounting
Good understanding of the GHG Protocol
Familiarity with emission factor databases (e.g. DEFRA, IPCC, ecoinvent) is a plus
Climate Risk
Practical experience in Climate Scenario Analysis under TCFD / ISSB S2
Quantitative assessment or modelling experience is preferred
General
Strong analytical and report-writing skills
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
ESG or sustainability consulting experience is preferred

Internship

The internship is remote-based and conducted primarily online, with regular virtual check-ins and collaboration.
